Hey Madusa, I know a reasonable amount about Daryl Hannah, for instance, she is a notoriously private person, with lots of OCD habits. She also was a monumental source of facination for Quentin Tarrantino, who deliberately cast her in Kill Bill, because, like you, he pondered her remarkable mystique as an unplacable yet essential talent. Daryl Hannah also has a sister, called Page, who is far less pretty, and has always lived in her shadow, but has done cultier films than the goddess herself!

This is because she is American and Americans often strive to pretend they have some sort of culture by giving people stupid names; often giving them first names that are quite obviously surnames or simply utilising random nouns for purposes of nomenclature (example: Page, see above). Daryl Hannah's surname is a girl's name, however, which fact places her alongside Elton John and Cliff Richard in the category of people whose names make more sense the other way round.
