What do the kidz think of David Bowie?

Can we have a "I'm (well) over 30 and thought he was great until Scary Monsters and then he turned a bit rubbish."

I still remember hearing Heroes on the radio when it came out. I was around 13 then and I'd never heard anything like it before. I became a huge fan for a few years and caught up with his previous albums and went to see The Man Who Fell to Earth about ten times. It all turned for me with Let's Dance, which was a good pop album, but not ahead ot its time anymore and after that I lost interest in his music. I still like to listen to the old stuff though and recently I've been playing Station to Station again.

That sums it up for me too, but I'm less charitable about Let's Dance.

Yes I can't be arsed with anything post Scary Monsters.. although allegedly some of his recent stuff is good.. .

Still, we have probably 10 decent albums.
