What daily newspaper is the most left wing?

Yeah, forget all the 'irrelevant' stuff like that it's the only daily newspaper not owned by a transnational corportation
Which corporation is it that owns The Guardian then?

The Scott Trust Mr Winjer - I trust from your 'rolleyes' you were implying it was independently owned.
My rolleyes were directed at your apparent suggestion that The Scott Trust is a corporation, and in some way transnational.

I believe I was referring to general newspaper ownership in contrast to the PPPS. The Scott Trust may not be a transnational corporation, but is very much in business to make a profit from the production of newspapers with the consequent servility to advertisers etc. In the Tust's own words its objective is:

"To secure the financial and editorial independence of The Guardian in perpetuity: as a quality national newspaper without party affiliation; remaining faithful to liberal tradition; as a profit-seeking enterprise managed in an efficient and cost-effective manner."

Is Fencesitter ern returned as an eloaborately subtle troll (ernesto-toynbee?)

Is it a pathetic attempt by the guardian to do some viral advertising?

Or some 18year old student who genunily belives that the Nu-Labour in-house magazine known as the guardian is remotely 'leftwing'?

(today in the guardian! a mate of blair says this! A mate of brown says that! a government department wants us to publish this!)

my local petrol station is the only place I've seen anywhere near here that sells the morning star

Yeah, Ive noticed that. There is also a small corner shop in Nottingham that sells mostly Arabic newspapers but also sells the Morning Star.
Iv'e read it a few times over the past few years. Find it liberal lefty at best. More in favour of TU buracrats than workers struggle in general, I would call it Neo Stallinist. Though my opinons are of it are clouded by a hatred of statist obsessed "Communists".
