What car...

T_a, what's the bora like space wise and stuff?? I may need to get something newer soon and not sure about the newer Golfs.

Guineveretoo, you do know about German, Swedish and French for cheap spares don't you??

In case you haven't guessed I've got a VW too. Metallic green mk3 1.8, s'ok, but I preferred the mk2.

That's my car.

"Drive" isn't really a word you can use for it, though. Look at, maybe.

It hasn't moved since October '05, I really should get round to getting rid of it.

Whats up with it ?

When I parked it up, the tax had run out, the MOT was a few days away from running out and I'm fairly sure the water pump was going. I wasn't going to be driving to work anyway. Oh, and the interiors a wreck.

Now... that plus flat battery, perished tyres, bound brakes and probably a whole lot more. :D

It's £400 car that needs more than that spending on it...

It cost me £400 with a years tax and MOT. Bargain, but haven't needed it since, so no reason at all to spend money on it, coupled with the fact that I could have bought another one in better nick for the same money has left it stood there.

Shame, but not a massive one.

what spec , reg? how much do you want for it

It's a '87 E30 316 (1.8 carb).

If you want it, you're welcome to it. You'd probably need a trailer, though...

Renault 2 litre Laguna Exec :o and a Citroen Dyane ( 'cos I can offer a ride in "my convertible" ).
I like the contrast and I can't ever get rid of the Dyane, 'cos I won it for a £5 raffle ticket when I had no wheels and it's been all over Europe :D

A blue one of these:

It's not mine, it's me brother's. But until he sorts out a parking permit for it, it sits outside my flat & tootles (well, chugs) to Tesco once a week. I loves it :D :D :D

A silver Corsa. I know nothing about cars but I like it. But I must stop treating it as either an extension to my handbag or a second wardrobe (in other words it's full of clothes, shoes I can't drive in and various sweetie wrappers :o )

Silver 2001 Peugeot 406 turbo diesel. Not very quick but fairly comfortable and very economic and very reliable.

Get it serviced regularly and it's never let me down (touch wood) and it's passed three MOT's without a single fault. Bought it in 2003 and have done 48,000 miles in last three years including taking it on numerous trips to France and also visiting Belgium & Spain in it.

Been thinking about changing it for last three months but can't decide what I would like next.

On the rare occasions I drive these days, I drive my mum's two-year-old Toyota Yaris.

It looks like a phone box on wheels, but it's a surprisingly nice little car to drive. It's the 1300vvt version so it's pretty nippy, and it handles nicely as well.

Love the Land Rover Ice, learnt to drive in one very similar.

Currently driving a K reg Honda Accord Estate, automatic - cost £250 3 years or so ago, put 30k miles on it, it's great for chucking tents and loads of gear in without any hassle and spent very little money on it (fingers crossed) so it'll do me until it dies when I'll look for another banger
