..but mines got a white bonnet and has started to blow a bit of smoke. and the air cons fucked and the heated seat has packed in.

but the stereo is still good and it starts every day and gets me to where I need to be. Had it for over 3 years and its done over 160k, though I think its days are numbered. best car I've ever had and the most I've ever spent on a car at £500.

My car has true Urban Pedigree. It's a 21 year old silver Renault 5, which belonged to Stanley Edwards. He then sold it to Ngeru and LDR, who then gave it to me last year cos they thought they were going back to NZ.

It has needed some work on it, but is still going strong. On the last MOT, the only thing which needed replacing was the windscreen wipers!

I'm still eternally grateful to Ngeru and LDR for their kind gift as it has improved my quality of life considerably. :)

Fair enough, their reliability and build quality has improved over the last few years. But the bumpers still droop after a few years :D

Aaah, I wasn't really talking about recent ones so much, more the older ones, specifically the e30 (like the ones pictured by me, dm and hiccup).

E36 and so on, just not in the same class. :)

Very cool, love the original M3s. Must be worth a pretty penny now.

2001 Y-reg Peugeot 406 turbodiesel saloon (silver) - in 6 weeks time I will have been it's proud owner for 5 years. It had 58,000 miles (93,000 kms) on the clock when I bought it, like high mileage, it means it's been sitting on the motorway cruising and not wearing things out on short journeys where it doesn't get properly warmed up and there's lots of gear changes and braking. It went over 120,000 miles (193,000 kms) two weeks ago.

It's been no bother - have it serviced when the 'computer' tells me to - this month it failed it's MOT, needed a new suspension bush (£47 fitted).

Saturday it's being 'treated' to a new cambelt - don't want to risk any expensive engine damage if it fails. This will be the second one I've had fitted to it.

September it will stretch it's legs on a good run to the Pyrenees and back.

Best car I've ever had by a country mile.

Right now I drive an '03 Honda Accord Coupe EX V-6. Same as below but in black :)....great car.

I nearly bought a '92 Evo II cabriolet (that's the 215BHP one) last year, but balked at the £14k price tag. :(

Remember seeing them racing on the Wellington waterfront circuit against V8s and Skyline GTRs back in the early 1990s.

They're fab, I love them and I'd really like one - especially as one of my best mates has a better 325i than I'm likely to find!

But they're a lot of money. Even so...

Do you really have one of them??? I am JEALOUS!!!!!!! I would LOVE an Elise. You wanna visit?? :D

Yep, although that isn't mine in the picture the one I have is exactly the same model and colour.

Will have to get some proper pics up (when I get round to taking them off my memory card).

You are welcome to have a spin if you are ever in the Epping area. :)

didn't know they did a convertible. Did they have VANOS vvt on the M3?

I don't think so. It's the S14 in the E30...

I don't know that they're actually all that quick by today's standards, anyway... but it's what you can do with the power and torque and the fact that you can take a whole lot of corners without letting off too much...

You're speaking to a Camry driver so anything faster than a horse and cart is quick :D

This be my vehicle. I'm slowly improving bits and pieces on it - and am set to get a 325 lump stuck in it later in the summer

holy snap batman, don't you just love the E30 touring

As standard comes with 51mm m-tech suspension (14mm lower than standard saloon), old-sckool '80's cool

Wheels are a bitch to keep clean & I'm spending £300 to get mine reconditioned

Watch out for the headlining dropping, BMW no longer make them (and carpet glue doesn't work).

Rusts around the front arches, scuttle, battery tray & tail-gate.

Spend money on bushes & tires = superb handling & fun

(just noticed your under photo comment - I'll shut up now)
