what car do you drive?

1.0 Nissan Micra

Old French cars. :hmm: Nice to drive, but IME not all that reliable...

According to a couple of friends that have had this make and model, they found them really reliable and easy to get parts for, I'm getting a bargin with this one, its in really good nick and the cam belt was changed 3000 miles ago. Anyway Unfortunately I can not afford to be choosy with a budget of £200:rolleyes: I will be happy if it lasts a year.

Maybe the ZX is different, then, and come to think of it I know a bloke who flogged his elderly example the other year with a fairly trouble-free 100,000 miles behind it.

Tbh though, for that money my first choice would be an old Ford.

Probably means you are a racist or something.

Could swing the other way. I'm not patriotic enough to use UK petrol and drive the economy, but am quite happy to leach off other 'real' Londoners as they drive half a mile down the road to the sweet shop for a sherbet dib dab.

Like that, only with a bloody great dent in the passenger door, rear lights that don't fit, an odd grinding sound at 3500rpm, gearknob that comes off, quite a lot of rust, slightly buckled back wheel, chipped windscreen, constant burning smell, busted right hand speakers etc etc. Still, not bad for the £0 I paid for it.

E30s FTW. Ultimate Driving Machine.

Not strictly mine, but it's on my drive and I have the keys at the moment.

:D

I bought my 1997 bmw 316i in March and it's undoubtedly the best car I've ever had. Steering is wonderful, smells of stale cigarettes and pine tree air freshener, surprisingly good on fuel (about 40mpg) and only set me back about 1400 squid.

Show us your pride and joy here :)

I've got a e36 316 too! never thought to take a picture of it though, is yours the compact one? mines a metallic blue coupe with a dated grey interior and nearly 130,000 miles. Can't find anything I prefer the look of to replace it with :)

:D

I want an M3. I nearly bought one last year, but decided £14k was too much for a 15 year old car. Silly boy. :(

I drove an M3 the other day. Fuck me it was fast. Scared the life out of me when I stamped on the gas and suddenly found myself 1/2 a mile down the road. Wouldn't trust myself with something that fast to be honest.

i'v got a mitsubishi pajero (think they are called shoguns in the uk?)

this isn't it...mines silver but just as dirty (dirtier in fact) and looks a lot rougher than when i first got it a year ago :o ..its a V6 3litre..which goes well anywhere!! (i'v tried it out good and proper ;))

We don't all drive every day in London, I'm pleased to say! :D:cool:

99 Volvo S40 turbo diesel.

I really, really don't like it:(.

And its green.

ETA - it does however, have a boot big enough to fit a couple of dead bodies in:D

This in deep green. The Merc I'd had for ten years since new was going strong until it met a sticky end at 6am one Thursday morning on Streaham High Road (Hill?):(

Elise 111R

Took me 3 years to save for but got it in the end!! :D

Do you really have one of them??? I am JEALOUS!!!!!!! I would LOVE an Elise. You wanna visit?? :D

I drive a mk3 Golf CL rather like this, but no alloys and a bit 'older' looking.

I like the metallic green, it makes it easy to find coz there's no other car exactly that colour afaik. There is/was only one or two others in the nearest town and I haven't seen either of them this year tbh.

Felix, why don't you like the volvo?? I quite fancied one of them so would be interested in your opinion :)

I've just bought a Ford Fiesta. Despite being 38 and passing my driving test about 18 years ago, it's the first car I've ever owned. Now obviously I claim this is due to my impeccable green credentials but in truth it's because I lived in London and didn't need one. Now I live 10 miles from the nearest town so it's a necessity really. Cornish bus service? Forget it.

Anyhow, it's a really nice little car with a proper fuck off stereo. I like it.
