what books shouldn't anyone read?

the difference is that Jonti doesn't continually ruin threads with his feuding

You should read a bit more of his posts and follow a tad more closely his popping left, right and centre, trying to sneer immaturely at people he allegedly ignores... Yeah, right...:D

You're very kind, froggy (and I'm a very naughty boy)I don't really need any tips, but this does sound like a cracking read. Where can I get a copy, please?

I think people should also avoid "A guide to the cosmic energy and spirituality of the world" by you ;)

I don't see why you should say that. It would be a very short work. Hardly anything at all to avoid really!

Requiem (written for the funeral of a child's pet gerbil)

Out of the Earth, back to the Earth
Ashes and dust of stars
by sunshine and time made being.

Being of time, by Earth brought forth.
A trick of the light, returning to the dust.

Alll that mystical Castenada rubbish.
All that Daniken Chariots of the Gods garbage.
And anything at all that comes with a dust cover bearing a recommendation from the Mail and/or Telegraph.

The Courage To Heal this one book has probably been responsible for more fake abuse accusations and has been cited in various dodgy 'recovered' ie false memory syndrome cases.

If someone is teetering on the edge of madness Courage to Heal can cause dangerous and damaging fantasies about 'hidden' abuse memories.

Since Rand has already been cited, can I nominate anything by Paul Coelho? I dragged myself through Veronika deserves to die or whatever its called and my eyes were bleeding by the end. What a loads of old fucksocks that book was.

That's "Paolo Coelho" (just wanted to make sure didn't accidently pick up a book by him, thinking they'd cunningly avoided anything by "Paul Coelho), and I absolutely agree. All criminals should be forced to read "The Alchemist", and then be threatened with being made to read it again if they re-offend!

As someone who has never read Statecraft by Margaret Thatcher, I feel well placed to recommend that everybody should not read this book. :)

If On A Winter's Night A Traveller by Italo Calvino.

No point. The synopsis reads: You may think you are reading this book. You're not.

Nonsense - absolutely brilliant and funny book - a must for any literature fan and absolutely essential for any student of literary theory

A Norwegian kids' book about a philisopher writing letters (containing philosophy lessons) to a 12 year old girl. Paedo.

You mean ... you're ... you're ... not really a frog? :(
