What BMX?

Me neither, in fact earlier in the day I dismissed someone for saying - in response to me making clear how much I despise the ugliness of trials riding - something like "the only difference nowadays between trials and a bmx is brakes and gears" - which is bollocks, but after seeing that vid I can understand why he said it. Maybe if he'd said "Some of the top trials riders are now using a lot of bmx tricks and riding in a very similar style" then I wouldn't have told him he was chatting bollocks... and the average trials rider you see around brum still rides in a fucking ugly stophopbalancebouncehopstopbouncedrop style that should be completely eradicated...

Ah I'm not a trails lover either. I'm strictly big fuck off air. I can't get enough of the stuff, ramps, park, street, dirt pump jumps whatever. In fact the most technical I ever get is manually in between pump jumps.

Its the next generation bringing the trial stuff into the street, dirtjumps, etc. its all going to the next level with or without any of us. Skateboarding did it. BMXing did it, and now its MTB's turn.

I'm kind of glad actually, cos I was fed up with the "What are you? some sort of paedo on a kids bike" looks. Now it means I can still ride and have a go

He rides with bmxers afaik. I like some of the stuff especially the massive fakie tyre tap on the tree. The drop offs and stuff couldn't be done on a bmx so fair do's to the them but hopping about and tech shit I'm so keen on.

That wouldnt be sidwell trails near Bexhill would it? probably not, it could be any trails in the country lol, i think its just the fact that someone posted a trails video that reminded me of sidwell...

BTW dont you hate it when people get 'trials' mixed up with 'trails'... grr

Re: trials/trails. A kid came to our our jumps a few years ago and wrote "Liam the trials boss". He still gets the piss taken for it. Think those in the vid are East Coast US.

Harry Main must've learnt most of his tricks on Dave Mirra. Not much my type of stuff but he seems to learn new stuff with no effort. No-one would've thought of a 900 being pulled on a 6ft QP not so long ago, never mind the flair to footjam type stuff.

A kid has snaked the Poynter fakie and posted a video somewhere, about twice as long but I can't find it anywhere.
