wasn't into bands/singers/music that much until I was 16/17 really,
watched Top Of The Pops/Sounds Of The Sixties/seventies/eighties avedly each week but never really fancied any of them - apart from very brief crushes on the occasional boy band (or whatever) member, I don't remember (m)any except - Brett Anderson before he cut his hair
Jimmy Nail when he released that song "she's lying" or whatever it was fucking called.

I had a massive obsession with Marc Almond when his covers of Days Of Pearly Spensor and Jacky came out.
(Just had an embarrasing flash back to a cassette tape I made with the audio of him on TOTPs followed by me commenting how 'lush' he was )
