    Update :

I remembered the bag of wholemeal bread flour I bought last Xmas to make mince pie alternatives (I was still using bread mixes back then).

So, 6 months out of date and most amazingly no visible insect life - and time was short, so it went on the white bread setting...
It will be interesting to see what greets me at 08.30 :)

The other day , my colleague anounced he was working at home the next day.and I asked him if he would have a special breakfast. He thought it was some sort of euphamism. This has tainted my idea of working at home breakfasts which often involves the caff:(

Really shouldn't look at friends' photos of their breakfasts in New York.

Fluffy pancakes with syrup (golden, haven't got maple) and smoked sausage.

Grape Nuts! Now there's a childhood memory. My grandmother always had those in. Never had them at home.

I know it's cheating to post up my late night snacks but its early enough to be someone's breakfasts
I just made Muhallebi [Turkish mild pudding made with cornflour and rose flower water] it's so comforting and sweet

Crumpets. Very disappointing ones, after the magnificent M&S multigrain ones last week.

My grandma always had a sprinkling of grape nuts on top of her main cereal. Not sure you're meant to have a whole bowl of it on its own. I'd imagine you'd be on the toilet alot of the day after that!

I was disproportionately excited to see Chelsea buns on the Asda website, but when they arrived my hopes were quickly dashed. No cinnamon, big rock sugar on top, bread didn't peel off in a big circle. So one imposter Chelsea bun, coffee and rancour.
