What are the FA on?

forget about eduardo you bitter twat, the ball wasn't anywhere near alidiere or mascherano, fair enough mashcareno should be banned aswell, but please don't keep bringing every incident up and saying the eduardo challenge was worse than that, that's just sad.

4 game ban for boro player who was provoked, nothing against Gallas for an unprovoked kick on Nani.

Davidus Deinus ago eternus.

It was worse than the slap, thats why eduardo is out for nine months and mascherano isnt. Please use your eyes.

taylor challenged for the ball and what occured was a freak accident, taylor got a 3 match ban, alidiere responded like anyone would to a little prick pinching there nose, but the only injustice there is mascherano should be banned as well., but the fucking football wasn't near either of the players. do you understand now?

Yes, but its easier to just say you are a cretin and be done with it.

Mascherano shouldn't have been banned - it was just a pinch of the cheek to a mouthy french twat.

Andy gray is a grade-a asshole, not surprised revol likes him. :D:D

McLeish has already stated that he feels the red card was harsh. He's got some sympathy too.

Dunno whether they're planning an appeal or not.

... which is in contrast to what he said after the game - "the referee has done his job, its a sending off".

I dont think he or Taylor can have any sympathy - it probably wasnt done deliberately, but it was clearly reckless and three games is far too short a punishment, given what other people are getting three-game bans (or more) for.

My bad. It wasn't McLeish, it Taylor's team mate, Stephen Kelly.

The former Tottenham player said, “It was harsh Tiny (Taylor) being sent off. Tiny has gone in and it wasn’t a malicious tackle and the reason the ref has sent him off is because he has seen Eduardo has broken his leg.

“I don’t think you can send a player off for that. That’s football. It can happen. It is an accident. Tiny didn’t go in two-footed. He didn’t lunge. He didn’t dive in.

That's pretty much how I, and many others, see it too. Watch it in real time and it's a nothing challenge. I don't think the foul was anything out of the ordinary, it was just terrible shitty luck that it ended up breaking Eduardo's leg.

But hey, feel free to call me a cock, or something, if you disagree.

No, after all you arent pastieburt.

Having watched the foul in fast time numerous times (well until Youtube purged it), you can see it is late and that the referee was in a good position to see it, and IMHO he (the ref) called it correctly. It is a studs-up, late, reckless challenge that lands just above the ankle with the result we all know, and there is certainly a lungeing-in aspect to it.

IMHO its a fairly clear sending-off - to call it "a nothing challenge" is pretty nonsensical in the circumstances IMHO.

no i'm pastieburt cretin, you are sharp tonite, ooh i just cut my finger reading your post.

Well that maybe (actually is true) but that doesn't stop Andy gray being the best of a bad lot. I mean I used to take Sky's coverage of games for granted, then when i moved out of my ma and da's house and couldn't afford Sky Sports and my fix was through the BBC and ITV I looked back at Sky with new eyes, oh how I wept for an Andy Gray as the BBC's litany of retards rained down platitudes and cliches, rarely managing to say anything apporach interesting or insightful.

Hanson is good, and I like Andy Gray. Read the Telegraphs sports pages if you want the best newspaper coverage of football and cricket.

So yeah, The Fat Cunt had his red card rescinded. One rule for the top clubs, another rule for everyone else.
