What are the FA on?

yeah, yeah.

And of course I take an interest in what Arsenal get away with, I'm not arrogant enough to think the league is Man utd's by defacto.

I also like to note little things like the myth of the great Arsenal wonder "kids" and how it get's repeated uncriticaly in the media despite the fact that most of their youngsters aren't up to standard.

your touching obsession with the Arse getting away with it is all rather sweet imo.

whereas you've got a manager who has a reputation bar none for brooking no disagreement with his POV, who moans about people tapping up his players yet has more form on this than any other manager i can think of, who tears into the FA each and every time they even dare to think about acting upon any trangression from the wholier-than-thou united, and you're also got sky sports who wouldn't dare to criticise their biggest cash-cow (not least cos the loss of income streaming across the irish sea would represent such a major loss to them).

So they uphold Aliadiere's red card and then impose a further one match ban on him because his appeal was apparently 'frivolous'.

Indeed it was.

Some might say cynical too, as Aliadiere would've been free to play in tonight's cup replay whilst the appeal was lodged.

Fancy that, eh?

yeah i'm happy with it that way, we've got a rabble rousing populist working with his influence amongst the plebs and the media and Arsenal have got their bureacrats and yes men in the dark corridors of power. ;)

yeah but considering the shit your shower have been getting away with this season you'd be forgiven for thinking Dein might still harbour deep feelings for the Gooners.

you're joking aren't you? andy grey is so far up fergie's arse, he's licking his colon....he's the alan green of tv (how this man gets to commentate on liverpool games is beyond me).

Andy gray is the best commentator in Britain, it is no suprise that the best commentator can recognise the best manager and team.

You know what is funny, everytime I say that Andy Gray is the best television pundit/commentator it provokes an ohh so witty response, what is even funnier is that when I ask the joker in question who is better they can never provide an answer.

I can, John motson best commentator ever, lawro best pundit ever, well he is my favourite.

i think they are all shit, including andy gray, none of the wankers ever say what they really think

alan smudger smith knows his stuff :D spesh when he's talking about the gooners....

martin tyler's prob tops for me on the box tho, enjoy listening to him, altho i'd rather listen on the radio tbh.

Well that maybe (actually is true) but that doesn't stop Andy gray being the best of a bad lot. I mean I used to take Sky's coverage of games for granted, then when i moved out of my ma and da's house and couldn't afford Sky Sports and my fix was through the BBC and ITV I looked back at Sky with new eyes, oh how I wept for an Andy Gray as the BBC's litany of retards rained down platitudes and cliches, rarely managing to say anything apporach interesting or insightful.

Four games for that is utter bollocks - yes, it was perhaps a sending off, but as it is the FA deems tapping Mascherano to be a more serious offence than recklessly tackling Eduardo and breaking his leg in two places.

forget about eduardo you bitter twat, the ball wasn't anywhere near alidiere or mascherano, fair enough mashcareno should be banned aswell, but please don't keep bringing every incident up and saying the eduardo challenge was worse than that, that's just sad.
