what are the best tea bags?

Sainsbury's red label. Actually capable of making a decent strong cup of tea, unlike pg tips. And they're nice and cheap.

another vote for clipper organic although i'd have to try every tea bag over a period of time to be able to comprehensively say which was the ultimate champion.

Don't usually buy teabags but if I have to, it's Clipper Green Tea Organic.

Also like the Tesco's Finest Earl Grey.

Morrisons or Tesco value teabags. 80 teabags for 28p! Bargain :D

I like my tea weak and these do the job better than any others I've tried. Hate PJ tips and Tetleys etc, within seconds of whipping the teabag out it's like ink! Can't go wrong with these value teabags

Whatever is on BOGOF at the supermarket at any particular time - can't afford to be fussy. A cuppa is a cuppa and I'll drink whatever I can afford.

Twinings Earl Grey - I.ve tried Clipper and supermarket own brands and they're not as good, apart from Carrefour supermarket bio organic ones, but I don't have a local Carrefour in Manchester.

Some of my colleagues were really into 'Yorkshire Tea' and I sometimes took them a box back with me. As this clearly passed the Brit expat test, you might want to give it a try. Two out of three cats recommend it, sorry I mean expats.

Before I made the switch to Earl Grey, back in the days I used to drink milk in my tea, I used to drink Twinings Assam - again, that's 'proper' tea, strong, builders style, but more strong flavoured tea as opposed to strong because it's been brewed too long. If you like a decent strong cup of tea you might like Assam.

Clipper are the best, and they're Fair Trade, so you know that the people who grew and picked it aren't being exploited.

I am just having a cup of 'Make Mine a Builders'. Strong, vigorous stuff. Also bungs some of the profits to the Federation of Master Builders to create apprenticeships.
