whaddaya growing? (PICS!!!)

tendril ... your sunflowers are almost exactly same state as mine ... flower in two weeks maybe??

i can't believe i've only just found the garden shed forum! Inspiring stuff here!

I'm a year zero grower, as are two of my mates, so been swapping notes all spring and summer.

Rocket, rainbow chard, mint, rosemary, basil been providing for a while ...
My first courgette! (Had pollination problem and that white mildew stuff too, but no sluggy action)
My first tomatoes have just started to turn red! The plants are absolutely laden! No blight!
Beans epic fail.
Various suprise flowers (can't remember what i sprinkled)
Collosal fig tree that was here before but will never fig, don't think ...

Sorry no pics. I should take some though. Keep growing folks!

No pics, but over the last week we've been harvesting:

runner beans (by the bucketload :D)
tomatoes
aubergines
more courgettes than you could shake a stick at, should you be so inclined,
boysenorsomesuchberries
some green chillis
peas - mmm
the past of the potatoes
red and green lettuce

it's been a bonanza

no pics either, but i have at present:

- some courgettes (green and yellow) and patty pan squash - although not nearly as many as last year
- tomatoes finally ripening
- a few french beans - also a lot less than last year
- cavolo nero and red kale
- lots of basil
- brocoli - although i left it too long to harvest and it's gone a bit woody

ready soon hopefully
- borlotti beans and hopefully a lot more french beans
- peppers
- rainbow chard and mustard greens
- garlic

my harvest is not nearly as abundent in general as last year which is disappointing although the brassicas are doing better (because they haven't been turned into skeletons by caterpillars this year)

Sunflowers doing well :)
