    What a fucking shower.
So to all those clever people who said "Our season starts with the Bournemouth game."
Wonder what they are saying now. I think we maybe sitting bottom for a while with our run of fixtures.

It's looking pretty grim. We were awful yesterday. Better click soon.

    This year's Everton.

Away at a league one side vs ten men. Is losing this beyond even West Ham?*

    * it would not be beyond Everton

Who is under more pressure if West Ham lose against AFC Wimbledon? Pellegrini or Mourinho?

Mou could never get over the fact Pellegrini went before him at Real, so if he got sacked before him as well he'd probably combust.

Fair play to Chicharito, even he knew how bad he was tonight.

I like the look of Anderson , very direct, good control and always looks to play someone in.

Tbf one goal either way would have won the game IMO . Wolves transfer policy has been very astute , West Hams good in part but flawed on ageing 'stars'

He only ever scored one hat trick for us, against the geordies.

Thinking about it, did you know when Everton beat us 6-0, Sheff Wed beat us 4-0, Charlton beat us 4-2, Arsenal beat us 4-0,Leeds beat us 5-1, Blackburn beat us 3-0...we ended up 5th in the Prem.

I've fallen out of love with football, don't follow it that closely and haven't been to a game for years. Went to 4 or 5 games in the 85/86 season but not the Alvin Martin hat trick game. Funny thing is, the game I remember most from that year (that I went to) was the 1-0 away loss against Spurs on Boxing Day. Also remember being 3-0 down at home to QPR in the first game of another season (Liam Brady's goal of the season was disallowed). I only seem to remember the bad stuff.

I know what you mean exactly. I remember going to Rangers in a cup game, we went one nil up...and lost 6-1.:D

It's been like that for as long as I can remember. We've always been partial to a has-been 'former' star. Redknapp was especially keen on them I think.

I've been a bit out of the loop this season. Are we really shit or just unlucky? From what I've read, the defence is still getting themselves organised and Arnie is looking a bit disinterested, so we can't defend or score. Which is unfortunate.

Used to do it before Redknapp as well. Stuart Pearson, David Swindlehurst etc. Was about to say Derek Hales but he was relatively young and did alright for us.

They're a bit before my time. I liked Liam Brady at the time but I suppose he was part of the phenomenom too. He's the first I remember. Chris Hughton is another from 1990.
Stewart Robson was only young when he joined but he was always injured. The prototypical Jack Wilshere maybe.

I suppose they can all be grouped as "well known players from bigger clubs who are past their best and looking for an easy life"
