West Ham, Millwall charged

The same rules are being broken.

I'm not in any way saying that West Ham shouldn't be facing these charges (altho what more they could have done I don't know). What I'm saying is that if you have these rules then they should be applied consistently. They're not.

Yes one fan who was promptly stopped is the exact same as the pitch being overrun.

Was he on the pitch?

What about the coin being thrown? Did that contravene any rules?

I understand that the severity is different but a fan threw a coin, which hit an opposing player. The rules say that clubs are responsible for ensuring that their fans don't throw coins at people. Man Utd haven't been charged.

Arsenal fans threw things at Adebayor. They haven't been charged.

they were broke though for wildly diferent reasons, i am not saying that west ham should be charged, it is up to the police to ensure law and order, not the club,

Thats the bit I dont get.

The stuff about the racist chanting is just pure window dressing which previous cases have shown and the clubs cannot be held responsible for it.

Personally, and I have no love for Millwall, I think that West Ham tend to get let off the hook by the FA (the whole Tevez affair being proof of that) and that the charges being bought against Millwall are designed to lessen the impact against the happy hammers.

I am sure that if a similar thing had happened with Millwall as the home club the FA would be solely bringing charges against them.

Seems tome the FA have decided to punish West Ham for what there fans did and Millwall for their reputation.
I think somebody should fine the FA for not controlling their member clubs, probably about £2billion.

we been hit with two charges of failing to control the fans type stuff inside the stadium.

Escaped the outside stuff and the racism.

Punihsmnent handed out on Friday. I suspect it wont be more then a tickle.
