West Ham 2005/6 thread

I like the look of this Petr Mikolanda geezer they've just signed, I think I've seen him play!

Last time I visited Prague we were staying just by the Viktoria Zizkov ground and you could see in from one of the higher rooms, so I watched a bit of one match. It looked very very exciting!

about the smell , you enjoying Hull away , or you being a Tractorboy ???

not as much as I'll enjoy you getting humped by all and sundry and being relegated by April.

Now that WBA have signed Ellington, maybe they will let Ernie come to Upton park!!! Please!

It sounds like a great game and Yossi seems to have had a hand in everything! Cos Hammers squad now contains half the welsh squad local news seems to be treating them like an extra welsh side and are back and for to the Boleyn every five minutes!

Good start to the season. I know Blackburn aren't great, but they aren't one of the teams we absolutely have to beat to stay up either.

Still, St james's away next. That will be a lot harder.

I'm looking at it like a election night! To stay up we need to win three seats and Blackburn were defo not one of the three we were targetting so if we can beat a team like them we could be looking at arespectable position.Having said that Blackburn have only won once at UP since 1963!

Boy were they good days, when it seemed that McAvennie and Cottee were scoring a goal each every week!!

The good thing is that it sounds like we actually played very well. Whereas when we were in the premiership before even when we won it was sometimes flukey.

Still, our away form is always poor. Newcastle away will be much, much trickier...

I suppose. But any committed West Ham fan will know away trips up north are always hellish for us. In the last few seasons we were in the premiership we had 6-0 and 5-0 defeats at Everton, and 7-1 at Blackburn... We have a slightly better record at Newcastle...
