    5k reported in Merthyr today, Big Nev and Eddie Butler among them.

    Difficult to argue that independence movement not growing and putting down roots, crossing over into demographics it hasn't historically had much traction with either. Imo it's dominated by nationalists without much in the way of anything transformative but it's def a thing anyway.

    Although there is a lot of shipping in with these AUOB demos, be interested to know what local support they pulled in today

    Would need to see who it was in a bit more detail - could just be the travelling army.

    It's not entirely new for non-Plaid nationalism to gain traction away from Cymru Cymraeg

    FWA had some support in the valleys and the MAC had some base in NE Wales a fromlong way from "y fro".

    Meibion, less so, ime but it was still there.
