You miss my point, Snaresbrook is grotty but Brixton is grotty and violent, and I have seen plenty of nastiness living in Brixton - much more than anywhere else I have lived in the Capital.

to be honest with you, my personal experience of observing violence in brixton is very limited indeed. hostility, nastiness, but not really any significant violence. i know there can be some grim shit cos i hear about it on urban, but i've not seen any myself. not compared to what i used to see in gants hill, ilford, woodford, romford and that hinterland.

I'd take the opposite view - I like the architecture and the layout of the City, but it would be much better if you kicked out all the cunts there

I also quite like Docklands, in a sort of surreal landscape way.

nah, brixton just got a bit too hectic for me. i actually moved out cos of a fella (ie i moved in with him and he didn't live in brixton) and it was only retrospectively i realised how stressful i found the place.

it's fine for a night out, and i don't mind driving through it, but my days of ever wanting to live there are well and truly over.

i understand that some folk love it of course! i will be gutted when i have to move from hackney, despite the fact that a large number of people would describe it as the armpit of the world

I in with the zoo as well. Its crap. Totally dissappinting, eapscially if you have been to any of the other great zoos in the world.

Leicester Sq is pointless and Oxford Street as the UK's premier shopping street? pishaw.

Brixton, Camden Town, Shoreditch, West London (except Ladbrooke Grove and Chippenham Road), Enfield, Barnet, Fulham, South London except Kingston and Camberwell, Muswell Hill, Brent Cross.

Upper St, Islington. Sure it might have the most café's/restaurants per foot than anywhere else in the world, but they are 90% over-priced crap. And the crap ones really are crap.
