Weird things on TV that scared you...

There was a bit in Knightmare when the contestant went on a sort of conveyor belt, and had to duck and jump to avoid giant spinning blades. That used to freak me out a bit, mainly because they had to rely on their team to warn them and they were usually rubbish at it.

The very first time the Daleks appeared on TV...I hid behind the sofa.

when i was very young the theme tune to 'the good, the bad, and the ugly' gave me some really weird nightmares.

and that ad where everyone turns into the liquorice allsorts bloke! fucking hell that freaked me out.

oh yeah 'nightmare canteen' from one of the simpsons halloween episodes really disturbed me... i was about 11 as well. to this day i switch it over whenever it comes on.

Oh and 'The Children of the Stones' scared the shit out of me - but I couldn't help watching it.

That terrified me too - I had to hold my breath walking past the neighbours' stone wall after dark in case I froze into it.

Sapphire & Steel I was only about 5 or 6 though.
