I know there's a website where you enter what ingredients you have and the magic internet thingy tells you what to make - can I find said website? no I cannot. Anyone out there in suburban land know of what I speak?
I like Recipesource - not quite cooking by numbers however the search is quite good. There is a google search option on the advanced search page for searching descriptions as well as titles.

Oogruk Flippers:
1 small oogruk
fresh blubber
Cut the flippers off from the oogruk. Put the flippers in fresh blubber. Let
them stay there for about two weeks. Take the loose fur off the flipper.
My sister has recently been horrified to discover that one of our ancestors was a famous and prolific 19th century sealer. In one year he was responsible for the killling of 55 000 seals. A record apparently. I shall pass the recipe for oogruk onto her, she didn't believe me when I told her seals were a food source
