while we're slagging off football fans, what's with the wearing a football shirt to watch a game on the telly?
i will never understand sports fans.
do you think football fans are the only ones who do this?

I'm staying with a friend at the moment in New York. He's here for three years as a young single guy, he's well off and he has the world's greatest city at his beck and call. And what does he do with his time? He tracks down the Liverpool supporters club, goes to sports bars to watch Liverpool and hangs around with English guys discussing football. He's been here 13 months and he barely knows the pace, really. Frankly, when it gets to that stage, you really have supplanted your own life with a vicarious living through others.
if not
After all, my loyalty is to the club, not the team, as any one of them could be gone next week!
