'WE' won this and 'WE' won that (video)

I'm staying with a friend at the moment in New York. He's here for three years as a young single guy, he's well off and he has the world's greatest city at his beck and call. And what does he do with his time? He tracks down the Liverpool supporters club, goes to sports bars to watch Liverpool and hangs around with English guys discussing football. He's been here 13 months and he barely knows the pace, really. Frankly, when it gets to that stage, you really have supplanted your own life with a vicarious living through others.

Is he from Liverpool? If so then  if not

Now this lot are what i call a proper ex-pat crowd

I say 'we' when I'm talking about my club; after all, we, the supporters, are the club - any club consists principally of its membership. I see the club as something bigger than the team, such that by referring to the club's exploits I'm not simply referring to how the team performed. After all, my loyalty is to the club, not the team, as any one of them could be gone next week!
