Regarding Lester, two that come immediately to mind:

Towards the end of S2 – after Ziggy has shot the guy – the Detail search that guy’s office and Lester runs around in pronounced hunched roadrunner style like he’s at the Old Vic


A scene at the Detail HQ when (I think) McNulty and Lester have an argument, McNulty leaves and Lester comes into view (from stage left) to tell Prez to check what McNulty had said – I think about tracing the Barksdale money from S1. Again pronounced – bug-eyed nigger looking at the audience rather than Prez.
