We didn't deserve that at all.

I'm not a huge Man U fan but, apart from Ronaldo I don't think they're world class anymore. They're still a good team but not what they were.

what fucking shtie you talk? Do you actually follow football beyond seeing who scored?

Fucking spastic.

nothing like watching the good, big, and rich clubs lose, and indeed their fans getting bitter. take it on the chin revol, you're too used to being on the winning side. sometimes it does you good to lose.

well done portsmouth. now if only rovers and cardiff can win tomorrow we're proper set!

revol's infantile behaviour on this thread, Fuckerson's whinging after the game and Ronaldo's crying about a lack of protection make it clear to anyone with a brain why Manchester United and its fans are so deeply despised by the rest of the football world.

Yes, Portsmouth rode their luck at times, but they defended like demons and caught ManUre on the break after a particularly plonkerish piece of defending and sheer idiocy by Kusczak or however you spell his name.

Facts:

- Distin's contact with Ronaldo was a fair shoulder charge.

- Kusczak did take out Baros. I realise that Baros has a reputation for diving but Kusczak took out his trailing leg.

- Rooney was very fortunate not to have made contact with that knee-high, studs-up, boneheaded tackle for which he was booked - had he caught the Pompey player's leg, we'd probably have had another Eduardo-style injury.

So well done Pompey for restoring my faith in humanity.

Oh, and Barnsley too. :D

your own record as far as commenting on united is pretty infantile as well, a shoulder charge is only legal if the ball is within touching distance of the two players concerned are you so blinkered or didn't you know this this? Rooney should have been sent off for that tackle but i think baros dived and even if he didn't we had two defenders back so our keeper should not have been sent off, but as i have said before these things even them selves out, my gripe about yesterdays match is not that united got beat, though i am gutted, it is about the appalling standard of refereeing in English football

It certainly looked a penalty, but I can see why Atkinson didnt give it (even without the fact that it was the nations most notorious cheat who fell over as the result of the challenge) since had that occured at the other end of the pitch you can bet Ferguson would not have thought it was one either.

Their penalty was definately a penalty, and the fact that there were two players back does not change the fact that Baros would have scored had he not been taken out - it was a clear goalscoring chance and so he should have gone, it was the right decision. As for "even them selves out", your club have a long, long way to go before you are even close to that. I also suggest that you watch Twattenburg's performance in this seasons Goodison derby before you make another comment about "appalling standards of refereeing".

That said, hearing you, revol, thousands of other Mancs, and your clown of a manager complain endlessly is probably the most amusing part of this weekend. Please keep it up.

after a shocking day's football this is very true. I'd forgotten about yesterday... reading this thread has cheered me right up. :D

how can you say that baros would defo have scored? have you forgotten tevezes miss earlier on in the game? and for it to have been a sending off, he would have had to have been the last defender back, which clearly he wasn't. but don't let the rule book get in the way of a good rant

clown? now you are having a laugh, he is the most successful manager in English football, though it is so long since you Muppet's won anything you can be forgiven for ignoring that, you would let him sleep with your wife or even sleep with him yourself if you thought he would consider going to manage your bunch of nobodies

fucking bollox, every time a united fan makes any post at all we are either accused of whining or gloating, you lot are so far up your own abu arses that you don't realise that it is us laughing at you lot and not the other way around, why the fuck should we worry about what a bunch of also rans and nobodies think?:D

Yeah sure, you're laughing at us. Of course.

why the fuck should we worry about what a bunch of also rans and nobodies think?:D

Which encapsulates my view of your rantings perfectly.

We're on the way to Wembley

You should read the rule book first, otherwise you make a cunt of yourself as you do above.
Law 12 actually says:

A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off and shown the red card if he commits any of the following seven offences:

5. denies an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick.

Since even the purple-faced clown thinks the sending-off was justified, why on earth do you disagree with him?

- Distin's contact with Ronaldo was a fair shoulder charge.

No it was a body check, he got across Ronaldo's run in the opposite direction the ball was moving, he only had eyes for Ronaldo (understandably).

If you think that type of challenge is fair may I suggest you stick to watching ice hockey
