Watches - what time is it?

Bought this the other day.

Valjoux 7750 movement. The chrono is slightly pointless but there it is. My eggs are perfect now.

Ollech & Wais are good value if you're looking for a new Swiss made mechanical watch. All ETA or Valjoux movements. Aristo too.

Still wanted:

- the Junghans digital MF radio controlled one, if they can get the antennae working

- a Glycine Eugene Meylan special

- a 1970 Oyster perpetual datejust

- a Panerai Luminor, if I ever lose track of the value of money completely for some reason

- a square face 1970s Breitling Datora super

Are you sorry you sold your Roller now ICB? Going back a bit :D

That's a very handsome watch Chow, and you clearly know your business.

I'm slightly gutted about the Rolex, it had the box, certificate, both straps, etc. and was one of the nicest Rolexs but life's too short for regrets :)

i haven't worn a watch in 9 years.

Same here... probably even longer tbh.
I've never liked wearing them. I just end up clock watching all the time, and now with mobile phones I don't see the need.

Cheers old son. I may canvas your views before I get anything else.

Something about a Rolex isn't there? Old ones don't quite have the flash-wanker problem either. Or not as much maybe. But it's just stuff and there are certainly better things to worry about.
