Was Leftfield Leftism the best album ever?

Both great albums too. Brown album was better than either of those though IMO.

They released a live at Glastonbury album last year and it is amazing, makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck at times. Brilliant memories, One Perfect Sunrise :)

OH NO I AM NOW GOING ON A STUDENT NOSTALGIA THING

Too late. You're sucked in :D

You will be playing the cocteau twins by the end of the night.

OK so where would Leftfeild have gone if they hadn't of felt raped by the music industry?

it was a bit lame tbh - a few of the singles leading up to it (song for life, open up) are outstanding, but the album falls short significantly.

i actually thought rhythm & stealth was better...

but anyway, in answer to the OP. no, nowhere even close.

Yeah, me too.

Well, all I would suggest is to take copius amount of drugs and listen to Leftism....in fact forget the drugs just take some time out but have a good bass system!

If I'm gonna take copious amounts of drugs (it's been a few years now!), I want Smokescreen, DIY, Underground Resistance and Derrick Carter.

I think it depends on why you're listening to an album - Leftism is a listen-to album because of the variety of bpms/styles on there, not a get up and jump around album. Same for Sniv and Insides.

*is aware this point has been made before about other stuff* :D

Thankyou for making me feel younger......I'm 36 on the 1st of May :D

I've just opened up my big CD wallet and it's the "student faves" section. Portishead, In Sides, also DJ Vadim, Lamb, Ruby, David Holmes, This Is Trip Hop (which was a top compilation), Black Dog...

...ah, I've just found an Oxide & Neutrino CD, that'll snap me out of it
