Soon as the fight got announced i thought of that one and think it'll have a similar outcome.

Anyway back onto Youtube and that Manchester press conference. Haven't ben able to find the bit at the end where mayweather and his crew all don Man United shirts. It's a classic moment with mayweather's bigass minders wearing shirts they obviously know nothing about but beaning away like fuck. Mayweather is an arse but it was funny and as I said before I'm a City fan and still found it amusing.
Ricky should get Sports PERSONALITY of the Year just for that press conference..."I just spent the week with a fucking six year old":D

I can't see his 'crew' wearing the Man U Shirts but here's a bit with him frontin the crowd in Manchester like the bad ass boxer he is. I Love It. And I love both boxers for being such fucking cool characters. This is why the fight is gonna be so great.

Jesus am I getting excited. Anyone watch Big Fight Countdown 1? Part 2 is on tonight. Bert Shugar reckons it's one of the biggest fights in 50 years.

I still have no idea about calling the fight.

i saw about 15 minutes of it. i cant watch part 2, i get all excited that ricky will bash mayweather up, then i get nervous that mayweather will bash ricky up, then i get confused :(

Initially I thought Mayweather easy win. Then I thought Hatton can do this. Then I watched 24/7 and saw the shape Hatton is in and the focus and thought he's going to KO Mayweather. Today I think Mayweather comfortable win........but no doubt later I'll be thinking Hatton win.

It's one of those.

Apparently the ring is massive which will favour Floyd.

Two great fighters against each other. We are spoiled.
 
Three of my friends have jetted off to Las Vegas for ten days and are staying at the hotel where the fight is on! Jammy bastards!!!

He was in Vegas for the last Hatton fight, at the weigh in Bernie Clifton and his ostrich turned up and caused chaos, much to the delight of the Brits there and the confusion of the yanks :D
 
That's why Hatton's so concerned about the referee not trying to break them up when he gets in close and has the chance to do some proper work on Mayweather's body. If Mayweather starts holding on and spoiling when Hatton does get on the inside, then Ricky could have problems. But i reckon he's gonna shake him up bad and i still fancy him to pull off a victory. His mum was on Five live this morning and she said that after 6 rounds with Ricky, she's going to get in and finish Floyd off in the 7th :D

yeah i was watching that last night. I thought in that little interview with Hatton he came across very relaxed, even though he admitted to being alittle vervous.

I cant call it either although im leaning toward a stoppage in the 5th/th in favour mayweather.

C'mon Ricky !!
 
If there are any yanks reading this thread, can you tell me if the coverage there is saying the same as coverage here. 'Americans here in Las Vegas who are going to be watching the match say they are supporting Hatton too' or is it just bollocks propoganda?

WTF? Whatever happened to patriotism?
 
I saw the weigh in last night, really entertaining. made youf eel proud to be english hearing those england fans, was funny when they chanted 'easy easy easy'
 
Just in case anyone hasn't seen this yet, here is some footage of Mayweather's skipping rope routine. Apparently he has a specially made metal rope covered with plastic so he can go faster. If he ever tires of boxing I suppose he can look into the world skipping championships:

I am without cable as the council have relayed the pavement and chopped through it! I was hoping it would be fixed for today but I have to wait until the 18th. :(
