Wallpaper repair ideas

Needed to remove some notice board from the kids old bedroom wall - but forgot it was stuck rather than screwed, hence gopping removal of wallpaper hilarity

How do I fix this ? I really don’t want to do the whole shitting wall

Give your kids indelible marker pens and tell them to draw over all the walls. You won’t notice this afterwards…

I'm in the process of repairing / replacing some wallpaper the cat tore when sharpening her talons.
Mostly hidden by curtains, fortunately.
And I've still got some matching off-cuts to use.

There's a couple of areas in another room that got scuffed off. and that repair will be filler & paint, until I can find a patch.

When Ollie was a kitten, he appeared, very pleased with himself, with a chunk of wallpaper in his mouth. We haven't yet discovered where it was hauled off from. :)

problem is that the paper and its backing is down to the plaster now

meh
If you have the patience, trim the hole and cut some backing paper [may need two layers] to fit, and then touch up with paint.
Sanding could scratch the area around the hole.

[and, yes, I've done both ...]

Make a feature of it.

Tear lots more holes in the wallpaper, daub with a mixture of day-glo and glow in the dark paint and put up a sign similar to this.

I'd probably glue the edges down with PVA, slap on some polyfilla, sand and repaint. It won't be perfect but better than what you have now.
This.

I'd paint the whole wall after the polyfilla. This way the damage would be almost completely invisible

I scuffed a bit of paint off the hallway a while ago and also had a bit of a wall in the kitchen that had got not as it was.

So I :)

had had the foresight to keep a tin of the original paint so I touched them both up and they look lovely again
