WALL-E - New Pixar Movie

Yup, Ratatouille's about cooking ffs - my younger nephews lost interest fast, particularly as it lasts for 111 mins! Way too long. I reckon Dreamworks have done better with Ice Age 1&2, Shark Tale, Madagascar etc. (Review supplied by two 3 year olds and two 5 year olds).

We love Madagascar in our house. Ice Age isn't so good though. Something a bit boring about it. I liked Rattatouille, but the kids didn't.

i found it quite boring...the animation is all great i just feel the comedy and stories haven't been that good

I thought it was a really thoughtful and charming storyline. Touching on subjects of conformity and the need to break out from what is expected of a person (or rat) in society, to achieve things beyond what is considered to be your lot in life. I found it really quite uplifting.

My kid's off to watch it this weekend... I'm sure I've seen it already mind...

That thing in Ice Age chasing his acorn is the funniest thing in cinema history. :D

I love Madagascar too - "I like to move it, move it"

I'm taking my niece and nephew to see this next weekend, and I'm more excited than they are!!

It reminded me of Short Circuit when I saw the pics too!:D

I can't wait to go see it!!! *bounces*
I love this kind of film.

Saw Kung Fu Panda other night. GREAT film. Funny :D

The trailer I saw nearly made me cry, so god knows how bad I'd be seeing the whole film.
They fall in love!
Oh flipping heck.

Amusing slag-off of some of the more crap CG-movies.

Top 10 worst CG movies

The Polar Express is about Tom Hanks and his magic train which he uses to travel around and collect unsuspecting children (one of which is played by Tom Hanks) in order to deliver them to the North Pole to visit Santa Claus (played by Tom Hanks). Along the way they get advice from a ghostly hobo (played by Tom Hanks) and a few other colorful characters (many of which are played by Tom Hanks).

I saw it last night and it was awsome. Probably their best work yet.

The artistic rendering is fabulous, per usual. They interspersed some live action which was actually pretty seamless. Sometimes the plot drags a little, while they show off their mastery of animation, but that's to be expected.

They actually included a bit of social criticism in there in a very funny way. You'll all love the ending, but I won't spoil it by telling you about it.

At least the god thing with all the fuel costs and food costs rising is that the fat right wing American fuckers get to suffer almost a worse fate than those in the world who have known only hardship in their lives.

This movie had its public premiere at Glastonbury, complete with generous full back page ad on the programme

You may not, however, be surprised to learn that I never made it to the cinema field.

Wall-E

I told you it was shit. Watched the first ten minutes of it just now and turned it straight off. I'm sure loads of people will love it - not my bag really. Don't like most of their stuff.
