Hopefully tomorrow will have as lovely weather as today. Walked a small part of the course this afternoon -very nice.

Midday at the alma. almost certainly going to be there. boohoo, drop me a text in the AM tomorrow pls x

I am planning to bring strawberry cream scones for all :)

Win

Ok will text tomorrow!! It should be a lovely walk!! hope to see you there...

Course if anyone wants to turn up earlier, this place is worth a visit:

Cheap antique tat market

We're hoping to get there for 12 but are coming straight from the plinth as a friend of memespring's family is up there 1st thing. We'll call if we're going to be late and play catch up!

You know part of this is to get everyone looking for stink pipes. There is one on Brixton water lane , three on Dulwich Road, one on Brockwell Park, one on Lilford Road, one on Walworth road... shall I go on? Please add to my collection...:D

One on Denmark Hill on the corner of De Crespigny Crescent...

That's an awkward bus journey.

You north of the river folks don't like the overground so much. Option:

Tube to London Bridge
Train to Norwood Junction
Train (or bus) to Crystal Palace

Northern line to oval and number 3 from there to crystal palace.

That's what I thought, then checked on the tfl thing on the alma website and it only says take the 35, no mention of the 3.

tfl is beginning to annoy me.

I wonder if they have got to Vauxhall yet? I really enjoyed the Crystal Palace to South Circular section - hearing the waters rushing underground and rambling unexpectedly round West Norwood cemetery. Thanks boohoo for organising and doing all that research.

Boohoo said feet were being rested half an hour ago. I was taking that as meaning they'd made it, but it's hard to be sure.

One of my feet has decided to be in agony, all of a sudden.

Indeed. More flanges than a Saturday night in Croydon.

Many, many thanks to boohoo for the idea, organisation and FACTS! Unfortunate to develop chafing on my chafing but most certainly nice to meet both familiar and new people from the Internetz.

Glorious weather as well.
