Chris Coleman leaves Wales role for Sunderland job
He'll be sacked before wales play their next game!
Shame. He was a decent manager,
He was/is. He's done five years with wales and can hold his head high. Tough job for him at Sunderland to take on.
"So what was it about the vast increase in salary that attracted you to the rock bottom of the second tier Sunderland Mr Coleman?"
Maybe he just wanted a change from internatioal football.
Sweet. That'll be it.
it's about the right level for him
Could he have done another qualifying and finals job with Wales ? Hard to say. He is still going to be a hero for the welsh for what he achieved.
I still don't reckon he's all that as a manager, tbh. Lucky to have Bale on sublime form, a fully firing Ramsey and relatively few injuries in the Euros campaign. Kinda hit his level again during the wc qualifiers.
Dunno, maybe I'm being harsh...
Being harsh, third place in that WC group was poor. But semi-finals of the Euros was glorious. Right time for him to go, and a pity it is on a bit of a downer, but hopefully a new person can revive the good times. Should have Ramsey and Bale near their peak at least for the next euros.
That was. harder group that people thought. Austria were ante post favourites in my mind and whenever Serbia learned not to get players sent off then they were probably going to be the best team in the group. Third wasn't bad then but finishing below a terrible Irish team
How is this a) a 'News' story and b) meant to be taken seriously?
Absolute fuckin nonsense
