Big game for you ..... Crewe :D

Just remind me Rubbsy, that is the Crewe team that is 3 places above you you are talking about ? Who sold Dean Ashton to Norwich who we humbled 3-1 last night ? :D

You are right though the England game is a big one for you boys, I don't know what with this and Total Network Solutions flying the flag in Europe :p

And the Crewe team that were stuffed 5-1 by Lincoln City last week!

(Not sure what Crewe have to do with anything but I'm not going to miss the chance to mention that one.

Sorry , didn't mean to derail....................... back to Wales v Enlgland :o

[ 3 - 0 to England]

I think Sven needs to change the system of play to suit the player available, and most of the key players play at club level in a sort of 4-3-2-1 formation. Now with England it's becoming more and more clear that Rooney is our star man and the one who the team needs to be built around. He's working wonders for Man Utd with Ronaldo alongside him just behind RVN. Swap those two for SWP and Owen and you've got a front 3. Then you've got 3 central midfielders, 2 of whom kind of have to be Lampard and Gerrard, leaving another to hold and distribute while they roam forward. This would seem to suit Carrick ideally as he can spread play very well from deep and is getting better at breaking the opposition up. No there's no Beckham because whilst he sells a lot of shirts a deep-lying right midfielder doesn't fit in and no way would you put him in ahead of Lampard or Gerrard.

That'd be a good team I think, Ashley Cole and Rooney between then could cover the lack of a left sided player. Unfortunately we all know Sven won't drop Beckham.

If Beckham is going to play Sven really needs to tell him to stay in the position he's meant to be in and stop charging round all over the place leaving a huge gap.

2-0

Been saying 5-3-2 for a while. Has to be. Our strength is mainly in the centre of the park and Ashley Cole, IMO, would be more suited to a wing back then half back. Unless Butt has a mega comeback year it'll have to be Parker or Carrick holding, but Sven will probably play Beckham and demand Gerrard or Lampard stays back, but at least they'll have a 5 man defence to rely on when the midfield fails to soak up pressure after going 1-0 up early.

If we are to have a holding player then it has to be carrick. Beckham will probably retire from international football after germany unless we flop so the 4-3-2-1 could well be used then. Yeah Sven likes 442 but he also reacts to media pressure (dropping James after Austria).

Michael Dawson should come in to replace Terry.

3-0 England I'd have to say

Wales are a poor side, under Hughes didn't they win once in eighteen months?

If England don't hit at least 2, then I'm a Swede

If you employ Lampard or Gerrard holding then you're sacrificing one of the best attacking midfielders in the world. Both are up there with the Ballacks, Kakas and Tottis or this world, if maybe not the Ronaldinhos. And for what? An overpaid media-whore who will not stick to the position he's been told to play. Beckham drifts so much for England and he is not Johann Cruyff with total football.

If any England midfielder has flattered to deceive in an England shirt its Gerrard.

I'm a passionate welsh fan......however....anything less than 4/5 goals to nil will be a complete embarrassment for england.

Lets look at our defence Danny Coyne, Robert Page, Gabbs, David Partridge, Richard Duffy (who?) & Sam Ricketts (who?). (for comedy value - combined worth £2,565,000 most of which is danny.)

up against - Shaun W-Phillips, Beckham, Gerrard, Cole, Lampard & Rooney (for comedy value - combined worth £137,000,000!!  )

Jebus, i'm gonna be in the stadium cheering on the boys as loud as i can as always, but get down the bookies and put your hard earned cash on a welsh stuffing.

is Savage playing (not that hes even more of an embaressingly mouthy c*nt with a lot less talent or anything)

England are gonna win this one pretty comfortably. Sven won't let them go about the pitch with the same attitude like in the Denmark game. I just hope some of the southern Chelsea skinheads don't ruin it for everyone....

Not content with being bitter, you're an idiot too. Well played.

I think if you apply a little thought, you'll see that the sale of Rooney vastly improved your finances, changed your style of play of reliance on a wonderkid, and got you qualification to the CL qualifiers (albeit for 180 minutes). And yet you still bang on about hating him. What pricks you Blues are.

Any Home County cunts/Chelsea twats:

If you're going to throw patio furniture at passers by/police, get yourselves down to Homebase as there's a sale on outdoor furniture.
