Wales to bail out FA again!

Its a great place the Millenium Stadium and its easy to get to!

I went to see Wolves beat Shef Utd to get to the prem a couple of years ago and I thought the place was fantastic.

Plus I went to see Oasis before Christmas and the place is great for gigs as well!

I agree, where else can you leave your seat and be in a pub in under 5 minutes.
The people are very hospitable, the women beautiful and obliging, and the cuisine is to die for.
Hotels are cheap, with free breakfast in bed, and the casinos are rigged to give you your taxi fare home.

rather than the v v v v serious and important FA cup of the 'national' game? :)

But the FA couldnt organise a piss-up in brewery, they build a national stadium in the most congested corner of England, they pay way over the odds for it then they cant get the place opened in time.

They will probably get a foriegn coach in next :p

After all this wait the place had better be good.....damn good.

And I was impressed at how clean the city center was as well, Cardiff really impressed me during my pre-xmas visit.

I'll be there, I'll be there. With my little orange jacket I'll be there. As a kid I always wanted to go to an FA Cup Final. By May I will have been to six (and got paid for it) and the novelty is wearing off. One more will be good though.

Top 3 footie matches at Millennium Stadium:

1. Liverpool 2 v 1 Arsenal - 2001 FA Cup Final - Shit match. Great ending. My first FA Cup Final.

2. Cardiff 1 v 0 QPR - 2003 Div 2 Play Off Final - Shit match. Great ending.
B-L-O-O-O-O-O-BIRDS!!!!

3. Liverpool 2 v 0 Manure - 2003 League Cup Final - Ok match. Great result. Loads of fighting in the 'neutral' section.

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried!!

1. Wales 2-1 Italy. Never thought I would get the opportunity to stand in my seat and taunt Itralian fans with "You're shit and you know you are"

2 Cardiff City 1-0 QPR Spent last quarter of an hour with my head in my hands too scared to look.

3 West Ham 1- 0 PNE. Hammers win a place for a single season in Premiership.... :D

I think you're right. The people in the top tier are going to be miles away from the pitch.

According to their own stats, the furthest seat from the centre spot is 135m away. They quote the figure "old" Wembley as 136m and the 137m for the Stade de France.

But of course you'd be hard pressed to make seats further away than the ones directly behind the goal at "old" Wembley...

Thing is Stade de France has a running track, the reason given for not having one at Wembley was that fans would be too far away from the pitch!!!

Yep: it's a lovely stadium - the steep and compact design makes for a great atmosphere - especially when you're watching the mighty Cardiff City win promotion there!

I don't know why they're wasing their money building a new wembley when we can use this lovely place. Nice locals, top venue and investing in a third world country. Why change a thing :D

How the new wembley cost three times that of the Millenium Stadium i'll never know. When I lived in brum and people asked where I was from they would always say I saw X win there and they without fail always loved the experience. Seeing us thrash the Italians 3-1 :p and the mighty bluebirds promotion there was fantastical aswell!

Sorry - I actually forgot about the Italy game! :o
That definitely goes in there ahead of the Liverpool v Manure game.
