This is going to be a very tough test, but we're 1-0 up at the moment. Come on Wales!

Great win. I could see Hungary as potential banana skins in this group, and sure enough they've just beaten Croatia! Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Group could be wide open now with four decent teams in it. Just makes today's win even more important, I think.

How the fuck did that Croatian player stay on the field after that foul?

Bloody hell. This is slipping away from us. We need to win this bloody game.

It was gutting to draw, not least because the second half had some of the best spells of attacking play I've seen from Wales under Giggs, they were the better side.

I did enjoy this query from my seven year old on the way home "Mum, what's a shit Joe Allen?" :D

Thaw Aye like, so it is.

I don't really get it. Why was he pretending to be unconscious?

“The physio came over but there was no problem. We did all the tests at half-time and he was fine. He stayed down and was a bit streetwise. He told the doctors: ‘I’m not moving, I’m just sitting still.’ Not to get anyone sent off, he was just using his nous.”
