the last time i went, come to think of it, Aqua, Pie Face, bees et al got theirs a long time before i did..

But in 'canteen' style places like that, i'm never overly bothered to be honest

I've said it once in about 6 months you grouchy cock-end.. I used it as Milesy said 'Nangdo's' earlier in the thread..

I'm 24.

Oh for some reason I thought you said nangdos as well.

ah - i dn't have a problem with that at all. I'd rather have food when it's fresh and ready.
But if you go to a resturaunt you expect your food to be timed so that one compleate order is fresh and ready at the same time.

Why should Wagamama be any different?

if my food only turned up as other people in my group were finishing there's i'd be well pissed off.

I've never had food delivered more than a minute or two apart, but I agree I'd be hacked off if the difference was more than few minutes.

mmm - no, in my experience of working in kitchens, that's more often acheived by holding back stuff under heat lamps. but i must be odd. i accept people would find it more of a problem than i do. :)

So you don't mind eating your meal after your companions have finished theirs? Cos that pisses me right off.

Pip pip! Can't be arsed with all the noodley noodling over noodles going on. Just wanted to say I voted 'not crap' based purely on the fact they're opening a branch v.soon in Exeter which is slightly exciting. But not as exciting as if they were opening Busaba Eathai instead. Same owners, a million miles better. This is but a poor substitute but you take what you can get down 'ere... :p

Well that is still not what I expect from a resturaunt.

Just out of curiosity Atomic Suplex, how many times have you been to Wagamama? You seem to have had the misfortune to experience it on a number of occasions. Or has your loathing grown over time?

Of course I could probably go on a similar diatribe about Pizza Express, and I've been there more times than I care to remember over the years.

This thread has ruined my working day and has been of little benifit to me.

I think it is about time I left U75. I wonder if I have the strength.

There's a difference between being served fresh food a little while after your co-diners, and having to watch them devour 2 courses and be asked if they want to see the pud menu whilst you're still waiting for anything at all to arrive, which is what happened in Wagamama.
