For some reason currently the only link from Urban75 is currently in the scary world of P&P where I'd have thought there are very few "undecideds"

Just go to the votematch.co.uk site and click on the big button:

Vote Match is a short quiz that voters can fill in to match their views with the views of the election candidates. In the interests of minimising any unintended biases, the tool is intended to be as transparent as possible:

Candidates and parties will be asked to provide their own answers based on their own published policy.
Users can include and/or exclude parties and candidates from the survey as they see fit and add extra weight to those issues which they consider to be important.
The website does not simply give you an answer - it shows you how the results are calculated.
Vote Match is not about telling people how to vote and we do not support any political party. Rather, it is about encouraging voters to consider which issues are important and informing them about where the parties and candidates stand.

IPP have been developing Vote Match (known as Stemwijzer in the Netherlands) since 1988, originally in book form. In the last Dutch elections, an estimated 35% of the electorate used their website. As well as the Netherlands, Vote Matches have been developed for the German, French, Bulgarian and Swiss elections (see links sidebar). Surveys in the Netherlands and Germany found that 80% found it to be a trustworthy tool.

Vote Match can also help to boost turnout. Of the people who used the Dutch and German websites and did not intend to vote, 10-15% went on to do so.

Which perhaps predictably for me gives the following suggeted order of preferences:

Brian Paddick (Liberal Democrats)
Siân Berry (Green Party)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Lindsey German (Left List)
Alan Craig (Christian Peoples Alliance / Christian Party)
Boris Johnson (Conservatives)
Winston Mckenzie
Matt O'Connor (English Democrats)
Gerrard Batten (UKIP)
Richard Barnbrook (BNP)

Apparently I agree most with ken very closely followed by Brian, and closely followed by Green party.

I agree most with Ken, followed by Sian Berry, which is how I was going to vote anyway

And me.

But my top three were-

Lindsey German (Left List)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Siân Berry (Green Party)

Top four:

Brian Paddick (Liberal Democrats)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Lindsey German (Left List)
Siân Berry (Green Party)

Brian and Ken would swap places if I fiddle with the weightings a bit. I'm yet to decide which way to vote. Probably Ken 1st.

We are no longer Londoners, technically. :( So I can't vote, but my results were:

Siân Berry (Green Party)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Brian Paddick (Liberal Democrats)
Boris Johnson (Conservatives)
Gerrard Batten (UKIP)
Spot on - I would have voted Green/Ken 2nd pref.

WTF is the question about 'inter-racial marriage' doing in there though?

It is the only distinctive issue that actually separates the BNP platform from some other candidates.
A strong argument for a written constitution, IMO. You want to stand on a racist platform? Fine - first you'll have to campaign to have the constitution changed.

Why is anybody allowing them to set any of the agenda?

I got exactly the same and am indeed planning to vote Sian first pref, Ken 2nd pref.

I reckon the marriage question must relate to a UKIP policy

The bloody quiz skipped over a couple of questions and put me down as agreeing with things I don't agree with! No, I do not want to discourage inter-racial marriage, thanks!

I still came out as Ken, Brian, Sian, Boris, UKIP twit.

curiously it says brain disagrees with letting off canabis users and targeting harder drug ofenders

has he had a u turn of hai/they got it wrong?

According to that I should vote for Lindsey German. :hmm: :(

same:hmm:

Lindsey German (Left List)
Siân Berry (Green Party)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Brian Paddick (Liberal Democrats)
Boris Johnson (Conservatives)
Alan Craig (Christian Peoples Alliance / Christian Party)
Matt O'Connor (English Democrats)
Gerrard Batten (UKIP)
Richard Barnbrook (BNP)
Winston Mckenzie

I don't live in London, but I did it anyway :o it came up with something called "Left List" (who?) closely followed by Ken. If I was actually there, I'd probably vote for Ken, he doesn't seem that bad :)

I can't vote anymore as I am now outside London but this is how I came out in the Vote Match - interesting because I would probably have voted for Brian Paddick but I find I disagree with him on more than I thought

Lindsey German (Left List)
Siân Berry (Green Party)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Brian Paddick (Liberal Democrats)
Boris Johnson (Conservatives)
Alan Craig (Christian Peoples Alliance / Christian Party)
Gerrard Batten (UKIP)
Matt O'Connor (English Democrats)
Winston Mckenzie
Richard Barnbrook (BNP)

Same as a lot of others here:

Lindsey German (Left List)
Siân Berry (Green Party)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Brian Paddick (Liberal Democrats)
Winston Mckenzie
Alan Craig (Christian Peoples Alliance / Christian Party)
Boris Johnson (Conservatives)
Matt O'Connor (English Democrats)
Gerrard Batten (UKIP)
Richard Barnbrook (BNP)

I'll be buggered if I have anything to do with those Left List weirdos though :)

Ken, Brian, Sian.

Though I'm actually planning to vote Brian as 1st choice and Ken as second.

Interesting!

Siân Berry (Green Party)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Lindsey German (Left List)
Matt O'Connor (English Democrats)

Brian Paddick came out really low on my list- 3rd from bottom

But the 7th 'Most Important' issue to people taking the Vote Match is Interracial Marriage?!
WTF is taking the the test?

Lindsey German (Left List)
Ken Livingstone (Labour)
Boris Johnson (Conservatives)
Brian Paddick (Liberal Democrats)
Matt O'Connor (English Democrats)
Siân Berry (Green Party)

This is stupid, my original result had Boris top, but when I went back and removed the 'extra importance' on the bendy-buses issue he dropped down to 3rd.:hmm::D
