Not sure about a button, but Stealth fighters are programmed to destroy themselves once the pilot has ejected I think.

A proper classic TNG this afternoon. The elixer of youth one where that crabby old admiral spends most of the episode mugging off Riker and Picard. He gets young and then dies negotiating a hostage situation. Solid stuff, even though the death was massive gorgonzola. Started to watch voyager but lost interest because I'm beggining to think Voyager is a bag of arse

Voyager picks up in its later series, except when it goes Borgy.

It had a hard act to follow, in fairness. I must have seen that TNG episode a dozen times, and it is still class. Largely because it focuses on plot rather than riker, wesley or any of the twatty characters.

The admirals wife puts in a solid understated performance.

Creepy line of the episode was ancient Admiral rasping 'Where are you going? I hope its the bedroom'
