In the five minutes I saw of the TNG episode we saw what I think was the first episodes to include Ferengi. Oh how they have changed by DS9

Rikers smug face when taunting the ferengi about making a profit made me want to hunt down the writers and kill them.

I have all the ds9 box-sets (anybody want 'em?, cash offers accepted lol)

I didnt like voyager, thin plot. TNG was class at the time and some episodes still are.

I think all in all DS9 was the best series but abit harder to get into.. ive seen em all so many times now they all abit boring. I love star trek, i even thought 'enterprise' had serious potential but they caned it

A muddled but entertaing TNG today. Q gives Riker Q powers and Riker immediately turned into became even more of a dick.

Not watching voyager, it opened on a holodeck scene with Neelix and the Eye-Cancer was just to much to bear.

DS9 was an entirely ridiculouse and yet amusing Quark centric episode in which once again the Ferengi were made to look like horrible ugly and absurd money grubbers. The writers have a hard on for making profit seeking look petty and stupid. Which I want to approve of but it is so heavy handed and self satisfied when they do it.

Some lols though. They got around the rule about ferngi females not wearing clothes by having Quarks mum as some sort of ferengi feminist.
