Vera Lynn sticks it on the BNP

She is also about to go on. at 92!, a national tour to promote her new biography(which i will get) and tell 'her side of the story', including her poor East End upbringing. I do think she must have been an incredible morale booster to the troops, workers, etc, even though her songs are deemed by critics 'too sentimental'. but, i don't think she can be claimed for anti-fascism as now understood.

i don't understand your last bit about "claimed for anti-facism as now understood". she's found out the fash are profiting from selling a cd with her tunes and she's seeking legal action to stop them. the fact that i find it very difficult to see that she has any chance of success doesn't diminish my admiration for the fact that she's prepared to, so publically, to show her views, opinions and evident distaste for the bnp.

Oh the BN fucking Scum'll be loving this. She can't sue them, she doesn't own the copyright, and she hasn't even opposed them, just said she's 'not affilliated to any political party'. All that'll happen is they get more publicity for their fundraising CDs.

She lives round our way, we went on a march to stop cuts to the maternity services at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.

The speakers?

Nicholas Soames, the Bishop of Arundel, and Vera!:D

Fighting fascism and saving the health service!

Nicholas 'fatty' Soames, the Hermann Goering of the Tory party? Strange bedfellows indeed.

yeh, but she has gone public like i said, maybe its all about her golden years who knows, the fact that she's said publicly that she ain't down with the bnp will do me tbh :)

Vera threatening those defenders of the IDF..... And you are supporting Vera?!

Good on Vera for speaking out against the fash. I fucking hate fash and the bnp's so called support for the State of Israel is just a sham to make them seem less like the wankstains .

I fucking hate all fash whether they be Nationalist fash like the BNP or Islamofash like Hamas.

Now I've given the troll a snack lets get back to the topic. ;):D

I think it is right to say:

Dear Vera **Respect**

I live in a village just outside Haywards Heath and occasionally Arthur Nicolas Soames has been in my village and my local.
My mates have had to stop me from "having a word" :D

Oh, bye the bye, it was an ex lover () of the family man Soames that said about the wardrobe and key.
Slimy Fat Bastard

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VERA !! onefuckinghundredyears
