In St Marks Square. Coffee prices there are extortionate.

I've been a few times, and always recommend the islands; Burano, Murano, San Michele (the cemetery island) and others. All only a short hop away by boat, literally minutes. Usually stay opposite on the Lido and catch the water bus in, again only takes minutes. It's a bit cheaper and nice to get away from the cruise liner crowds.

Yeah would second Murano and San Michele, really interesting.
