I believe in law as a principle, but how the law works i don't believe in at all, I could give you loads of examples of people I know who the law has fucked over and even more that i read in the paper.....

One of the teachers from my school molested 3 kids and he got 9 years, which means 5, but a friend from school (who was an idiot tbf) got 5 in a prison which worked out as 10 plus a lifetime of unemployment

I remember a recession in the eighties. Was there one in the nineties, too? For the most part, these cycles haven't really affected me. For one thing, I don't own real estate, so it's not like my net worth is about to evaporate in the mortgage crisis. I don't use credit, so not having it available, doesn't bother me that much.

What if your bank failed and you lost any savings you had? What about if your employer or customers couldn't get credit and ceased trading, putting you out of work? What if your government had to cut back on spending - meaning less public services of all kinds - and had to put up taxes? All of these would impact on you. I can't think of anyone at all who would be immune, unless they lived self-sufficiently in a log cabin way out in the wilderness.

What do you actually do as a job anyway? Maybe you do live in a log cabin somewhere, growing and hunting your own food?
