Velvia ISO50 slide presentation wows ..

Yes - Several years working with a particularly diverse bat group, studying many aspects of bat ecology & behaviour.

Loads of challenging photography, film & video. :)

For them - visible light had to be fast flash. Otherwise it could register with the beasties nervous system & affect behaviour. Velvia in this situation was a godsend. Quality and a workable tonal range!

Other forms of natural or incandescant lighting were severely limited - to mainly IR mono, except for brief periods in hibernation periods when they were much more sluggish & approchable.
 
And it certainly ain't cheap when you fuck-up several bulk rolls of tranny film - you only find that after you pay for processing! :o :eek:
 
I shot some portraits on Velvia once - everyone came out with a distinct pink hue. Didn't know that much about photography at the time and the internetz wasn't the mine of info that it is today so I went back to good safe Provia.

I only did it because I kept reading about photographers using Velvia, but i think they may have then push/pulled processed.
