There was no difference in IQ score between strict vegetarians and those who said they were vegetarian but who reported eating fish or chicken.

Vegetarians who eat fish or chicken? Well you're not a vegetarian, thicko!

so I'm a vegetarian I fell my brain expanding already.:D
you can't be that smart if you think quorn bacon tastes like real bacon :D

There's a difference between being a meat eater and being an irresponsible cunt though :)

Nobody thinks that quorn bacon is like real bacon, but some of us do think it is an adequate substitute for our cravings. Actually, quorn bacon is foul, so I am not one of those people! :D

However, I am very, very intelligent, and was vegetarian before I was 30, just like that site says I needed to be! Hurrah, say I!

HAHAHA.

Wonder how many veggies who have previously dismissed IQ tests as being culturally/class biased will be embracing them...:D:D:D

There is little doubt that IQ tests are culturally biased, but, since they currently show vegetarianism as a culture of intelligent folk, I, for one, am happy. ;)

Nothing to do with being a vegetarian, more secondary factors. Pretty obvious though. Why would meat eaters be enraged?

Quite agree - it seems quite a silly bit of research to be honest. Only posted it up for a laugh. :)

Trust me my friend , i used to be a vegetarian for 3 years and it made me bloody depressed !!! i slowly turned into one of those fish-chicken eating idiots that annoy the crap out of people ......i just loved meat too much.

imo the whole foie gras debate as become a bit of a "cause célèbre" and is over-hyped by the vegetarian-lobby! when i have it over here you realize what a special thing it is for the french and they almost create a ceremony around it. my girlfriends parents live in the country-side and they prepare it themselves. one minute you have a goose walking in the field that had a great life and has never been force-fed (it's just bloody big and fat) and the next minute it is turned into something truly delicious - people gather around to celebrate "taste".
of course you get the mass-produced crap aswell which is quite ugly but has very little to do with the original way doing things the foie-gras-way!

i should get a packet of those " bacon style rashers " and show it to the people here ; i swear they would be as offended about that than you are about them.
what ever next? a nut-roast for christmas !?
