Vegan, unprocessed packed lunch / breakfast???

you can make you own variation on homus. i have done this in the past with varying succes. not only using chicka peas but also other beans/pulses and whatever spices/herds/leek what not. all you need is a mixer. nice as spread on bread, that you can make yourself to make it more interesting (if you want a recepie i've got one worked out now).

sprouts are wonderfull as well. had some alfa alfa home made for breakfast (on my bread mentione above but not with the "special" homus). :)

and as far as proteins goes if you mix pulses with starchy food (bread, potato, pasta/nudles, cerials and so on) you get a complete set of amonio acids (protein).

My vegan breakfast of choice is ripe Hass avocado spread on to toast. Very decadent sounding, I know, but then you can get 8-10 avocadoes for £1 on Lewisham market most weekends.

tabbouleh (burgul + parsely +mint +tomatoes +spring onions)
rice salad (lentils + white & wild rice + red peppers, roast aubergine if you like it + onion + lots of lemon juice and olive oil)
