However, LTs offer loads of room, and because they're relatively ugly, they go for very low prices compared to Type 2s (like ours). They are a bit slow, though.
LPG saves money - FAQ's here. A bit rubbish where we live because there aren't many places to fill up, but in your part of the world it's easier. You'd want to see the receipt and maybe details a warranty on an LPG conversion.

Are you looking at specialist campervan insurance? Might be useful, and if you can specify a limited mileage it can be cheaper.PieEye said:I'm getting quoted a lot to get covered on a regular pre-conversion van - circa £600 as I have no insurance history. A camper is coming in around half that.
As far as fuel consumption goes, it does about 15 miles to the gallon on LPG, which doens't sound alot, but if you think that it's half the price of
petrol then it's about 30 miles really. Basically it's a 60 litre tank, and
it does about 160-170 miles on a full tank whihc costs between £35 and £40
to fill up, so not bad really.
Yup - that's about as shit as ours, but as they said, you would have the benefits of cheaper LPG.Dubversion said:does this sound about right?
