Bernie Sanders Just Hired His Twitter Attack Dog

None of those comments can be found online anymore. On Monday night, after being contacted for a second time by The Atlantic with a list of specific questions about his undisclosed work for Sanders, Sirota did not respond to the email but deleted more than 20,000 tweets. He left fewer than 200 online.

On Tuesday morning, minutes after his position was announced by the Sanders campaign in a long list of new hires, Sirota said he hadn’t been able to respond to my initial inquiries because he’d been caring for his sick child. He did post a photo on Twitter of himself bowling on Monday evening, wearing a turkey hat.

I did warm to Beto since discovering he called himself Psychedelic Warlord. A Hawkfan in the White House would be amusing.

Shame about the shite he wrote under that sobriquet tho

I wonder if they are going to ruin it for themselves once again. If they didn't push Bernie out of the election train last time...

It's Bernie or bust - but maybe he'll do it in spite of the fake so-called "Democrats".

Four women have now come forward to accuse Joe Biden of unwanted touching, which probably won't be a surprise to these bikers.

when those same voters were asked to choose between re-electing President Trump or “a Democrat who embraces socialism,” the socialist wins — beating Trump 52.5 to 47.5 percent

    define "socialist" etc.

in other news, it's sanders or biden or buttigieg. o'rourke is useless, just on the merits but especially with butty in the race. among women candidates only harris could keep up imo and no-one's paying attention until biden announces.

Sodding tweet won't load. Should have been a thing about how 230 people in a town of 257 turned out to see Comrade Sanders.

Don't discount this young guy.....Pete Buttigieg. Quietly but steadily he's becoming a guy to watch and he could emerge as a real candidate to lead the Democratic party.

    Anyone following Andrew Yang?

UBI, Green new deal, cannabis legalisation, medicare with zoomie zoomie accelerationism. I'm reading his "The war on Normal People" at the moment, I like him, despite a bit of 4-chan fanbase.

Well, plenty to choose from at least. Some did better than others at the the She the People event yesterday, and considering WOC, particularly African American Women are at the core of the Democratic Party, candidates will have to convince that crowd to have a hope of getting the nomination. Keep thinking some would have been better running to oust GOP assholes from the Senate, or for governorships. Still too many in the running to say who's likely to get the nom yet.

Joe Biden - surely the man who can beat Donald Trump and all he stands for:

he could beat trump. after all, clinton did, and biden, unlike clinton, would have no problem going toe to toe with trump in the rhetoric department.
otoh he's from delaware, the state that won the corporate race to the bottom.
How Delaware Thrives as a Corporate Tax Haven

"Big corporations, small-time businesses, rogues, scoundrels and worse — all have turned up at Delaware addresses in hopes of minimizing taxes, skirting regulations, plying friendly courts or, when needed, covering their tracks. Federal authorities worry that, in addition to the legitimate businesses flocking here, drug traffickers, embezzlers and money launderers are increasingly heading to Delaware, too. It’s easy to set up shell companies here, no questions asked.

“Shells are the No. 1 vehicle for laundering illicit money and criminal proceeds,” said Lanny A. Breuer, assistant attorney general for the criminal division of the Justice Department. “It’s an enormous criminal justice problem. It’s ridiculously easy for a criminal to set up a shell corporation and use the banking system, and we have to stop it.”

In these troubled economic times, when many states are desperate for tax dollars, Delaware stands out in sharp relief. The First State, land of DuPont, broiler chickens and, as it happens, Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., increasingly resembles a freewheeling offshore haven, right on America’s shores. Officials in other states complain that Delaware’s cozy corporate setup robs their states of billions of tax dollars. Officials in the Cayman Islands, a favorite Caribbean haunt of secretive hedge funds, say Delaware is today playing faster and looser than the offshore jurisdictions that raise hackles in Washington."
