Fantastic, best ever, comme si comme ca are just a few of the three comments that have poured in to describe the response to our call for solidarity.We have had the best ever fantastic response to our appeal for funds to send a non 'English' anarchist delegation to Paris. Reader and supporter Tax at the Hedgemybets University promised to donate his weekly clothes allowance of £50, other donations have included a bicycle, some onions and a beret. 'An evening with Johnny Holiday' is being planned as is a dress down day at a local mosque and George Galloway has sent a message of support from his villa ( calls are £1 per minute make sure that you have the person who pays the bills permission to use the phone).Never has the call for a new mass party of the working class (with the right for permanent factions) had a better response.

Many readers have drawn comparisons with May 1968 where De Gaulle had the army stationed ready to intervene.However this is not the same.What is crucially missing is mass action by students.It is only students that have the intellectual power to take on the French Government and it is important that workers leaflet the universities to get their support.
