You would presume right ! I also want to give people as much chance to send out cd's from the last urburn if they haven't allready so I don't have to ban anyone from taking part in this urburn !

Actually, I have settled on should-have-been indie hits in the early 90s (and I was working on a music mag then that would have known!).

Maybe...

I'm looking forward to sending even more than receiving...!

I'm getting a bit carried away here ! I've just done a cd which will only fit on 4 tracks :eek: and the second one I'm doing will only fit about 6 tracks or so :o

some poor bastards are going to get 3 cd's of tunes with tracks averaging over 10 minutes in length :eek:

I had a sudden realiasation last night at about 12ish just as I was copying one of my tracks ( all but 2 have been lovingly recorded of vinyl onto my computer ) when I realised that the chances of my cd's actually being liked was fairly small :eek:

anyway at least it will be an experience and whoever I get will be getting 3 cd's :D

And the cover looks nice IMO which is always good because if the music is shit at least you can admire the cover :D
 
currently working on mine - longlist of 80+ tunes, weighing in at about 6 hours, shortlist so far down to 30 songs over two hours :D

going for a summer vibe, latin-flecked, baile funk, reggaeton, grime, country, m.o.r. rawk :cool:
 
well, i finally got my last cd from urburn IV. thanks bees, a great complation that!

but my cd burner or the software appears to have died because everytime is try and compile a cd it fails. this is worrying.
 
No, I didn't send out my urburn IV discs :(

However this was due to, at first, too much coursework. I then tried to compensate by creating a wonderful video DVD urburn disc. This took longer than I thought. The disc is now ready - can I send it to my urburn IV recipients as well as a new set for urburn V?

You want it, you do, this disc. It's well shiny :)

You need to send out your urburn IV cd's before your entered into urburn V . If you can also confirm if you recieved off xes from urburn IV then there won't be a problem !
 
How does anyone think a bit of very chilled bukem/ shpongle/ random dance will go down? I might get round to recording a funky house mix if 2 people are very lucky ;)

I've decided to include a bonus comedy compilation CD with my urburn, featuring some of my favourite stand up, and some monty python sketches, for two lucky urbanites. :)
 
We have 36 people taking part so far ! Anyone who's pm'd me could you check the list on page 1 to make sure I haven't missed you off accidently !
