Here the rules

* If you want to take part and recieve 2 random cd's from a couple of urbanites PM me your address with the heading Urburn V by July 10th .
Please include the name you want the cd addressed to and your address

* A random draw will be made and the addresses of the recipients of your cd's will be sent to you via PM .

* Burn your cd's and post them , if possible put in something to identify yourself so cd's can be kept track of easily !

*When you recieve a cd please PM me to confirm that it has arrived .

* If you have not recieved your CD's within 2 weeks of addresses being sent (July 25th )PM me and I will make enquiries !

* If after another 2 weeks (August 8th) you have not recieved a cd please PM and those who have sent nothing will be named !

* People who have not sent CD's out for the last urburn will NOT be allowed to take part in this urburn . If you wish to take part then you need to make sure your Urburn 4 cd is sent !

* People who have not acknowledged receipt of their last urburns will also NOT be allowed to take part . If you have recieved a cd from the last urburn but are not included on the name and shame list as having acknowledged that please do so if you wish to take part !

Please note . I have left plenty of time between now and the last date for entries so please start making your cd's in that time not when you get your addresses and it gives plenty of time for any slackers from Urburn 4 to sort themselves out so they can take part this time !

well, i tried my best, sorry if it's 'way out of date', but i relied on you lot to keep me up to date with info on received/not received cd's, and quite frankly, you let me down, you let each other down, you let the school down

like i explained many times on the other thread, my preference (ie, what was convenient to me - which, given i was the one putting in an hour a day chasing shit and maintaining lists, was the rule of law) was for people to pm me, not post vague things up on threads that i then had to chase through. in many cases that's what people did do - but not in all. now i'm sorry for any genuine mix-ups, but it's omelettes/eggs. afaik everyone got something, which was my prime motivation.

now, when it comes to chasing up cd's post-name&shame, participants can approach their donors and recipients direct to sort out problems - and pm me so i can make alterations to the lists.

also bear in mind this is the first time name&shame lists were done in this detail, and i think this was also a pretty big burn anyway (67 burners), so rough around the edges it may have been, but still...

hopefully soggy's even tougher line will make urburn 5 the best so far

I've just spent about an hour colour coding the name and shame lists and giving people scores based on whther I have confirmation of them not sending a cd's out or non-acknowledgment of receipt of cd's

callie recieves +2 points for confirming receipt and non-reciept of her cd's

derek raymond scores -2 for telling bristle fuck all

[chooch] < [sunspots - received] & [fridgemagnet]
chooch recieves 0 points for confirming 1 cd but not the other !

The from the donor > recipients name and shame list

[maggot] > [firky] & [wintermute] both received! top marks
maggot scores 2 points for both cd's recieved

[killer b] > [sw9] & [firky]
[psycherelic] > [Basher T] & [dr. furface] one received, one yet to be acknowledged

killer b recieves 0 points since I can't prove if any cd's have been sent or not
and
psycherelic recieves 0 points since there is no proof both cd's were sent or not again*

derek raymond scores -2 points because I have confirmation that both cd's were not recieved !


The points system works by anyone with a positive score is eligble for entry into this urburn , a score of 0 or negative points will mean no entry is allowed so it's important to make sure you confirm receipt of your cd's from the last urburn to get those 2 points !

I will be leniant and pm people who fall below the points thresehold for entry so they have a chance to change the situation !

i wasn't trying to upstage you, it's just there are a fair few 'yet to be acknowledged's - which are not really 'not received's... and they may well have arrived, it's just the recipient has been slack, in which case the recipient should be penalised, not the sender...

Quite a few people are showing as recieved one and unconfirmed for another ! I was trying to scare them into making sure they had given confirmation for both their cd's ! I am willing to be flexible in some cases if I'm caught on a "good" day
