Urburn Eight!!

killer - I'm hoping you're still slacking and haven't just forgotten about me!

:)

yep, still being slack... sorry, i'm in the middle of moving house at the moment, and it's not easy getting onto a pc in the evenings... i'll sort it out tonight (touch wood...).

when i said 'next few minutes', i think i meant 'next half hour or so'. there seems to be the best part of 40 of you to deal with!

all done... if anyone spots any mistakes (they've been sent their own addresses etc) let me know asap. you've got two weeks to get 'em sent, so don't start complaining until the 19th...

rickity titcky boo, mines nearly ready - whoever gets them is in for (my interpretation) of summery tunes!

:)

wicked... if anyone fancies doing a bonus swap, i've got a big pile of cd-r's over here...

a top tip for those of you who have to post abroad - if you send the cd in a plastic wallet with a card stiffener instead of in a jewel case, it's not that much more expensive than sending a letter - ie, well cheap.

useful, I've got somebody in san francisco !

mine may be slightly delayed because with unerring accuracy I've managed to time both urburns I've entered to exactly when I'm moving house, so people I'm suposed to be sending to, I'm sorry if it's late but it will get there. :o

excellent stuff Killer B, thanks for co-ordinating this.....

have decided against the original cd's I was going to send, will be recording new compilations early next week, track listing posted after items have been sent.....

got my first already. Very enjoyable CD of mostly electro / 80s tunes. Only have a couple, never heard loads, so a good CD all round.

intrigued by who it's from, i have my suspicions.

Perhaps they could tell me a bit more about the excellent Baldelli Electrodub track (although the '?' suggests not. ) :D

Right I'm being slack , I can't think of a theme for mine and I won't send the cd's out untill I'm happy with what I've thought of ! So if anyone has an idea for a theme I could work on please help me

That was mine, glad you enjoyed it and hadn't heard it all before. Dont know owt about the Danielle Baldelli track cos it was just an odd MP3 I had, i've ordered the 'cosmic sound' CD, which it's off, but I don't even know if it's a DJ set or his own production, either way I want more of that stuff. Bloke seems dead interesting, and mysterious

PM me anyone who wants to swap, here's the tracks:

1. Egyptian Lover - The Dark Side of Egypt
2. Ryuchi Sakamoto - E-3A
3. Arthur Russell - Let's Go Swimming (Arthur Gibbons mix)
4. Delia Derbyshire - Know your Car
5. Junior Boys - In The Morning
6. ? (From a Baldelli set) - Electrodub
7. Ryuchi Sakamoto & David Sylvian - Bamboo Houses
8. Christiane F - Wunderbar
9. Scritti Politti - PAs
10. Zapp - More Bounce to the Ounce
11. Thomas Leer - Soul Gypsy
12. The Associates - The Associate
13. Japan - The Art of Parties (12")
14. Isolee - Enrico

I was a bit lacking theme but have decided am going to do CDs on the basis of gigs I've been too. Obviously can't use them all but will start from Prince in 92 through to Chk Chk Chk last week with some seleccted highlights and dirty secrets in between. I will expose my mid 90s emo shame :o :D

Cheers . I'm now rooting through my record collection for live performances ! So my cd's will be mostly punk with a bit of jazz thrown in

I didn't go for a theme with mine just some random stuff, I don't really have anything obscure though except for some French Jazz which I hope whoever receives it enjoys
